3/4 HP Kasco Water Circulators (watermovers) are perfect for creating directional flow in your pond or lake and turn your still, stagnant water into a stream environment. Stagnant water is ideal for the growth of unwanted surface and bottom vegetation such as algae. By eliminating the stagnant water, the circulators may help limit the growth of unwanted aquatic plants and keep your pond cleaner. Stagnant water is also ideal for mosquito reproduction, including those that may carry the West Nile Virus. Creating "flow" may also help limit the reproduction of mosquitoes and the overall population of mosquitoes in your area. In the Summer months, Kasco Water Circulators can be used to keep floating debris out of bays, marinas, and canals, as well as around docks and beaches. In the Winter months, they can be used to keep docks and piers free of ice along with providing winterkill prevention. These units are UL and CSA listed and come with a 2 year warranty. Includes a horizontal floatation kit, two 50' braided nylon mooring ropes, and 50' - 200' of power cable.
