N-Lock 14-40 is a sand-like zeolite used to bind nitrogen in shallows, stream beds and grassy slopes leading to water. Zeolite picks up positively charged compounds and holds them with a small charge allowing bacteria to use the nutrients to build biomass. Suggested application rates are 1000# per acre.
