APPLICATION RATES:  Application rates range from 0.7 - 3.4 gal/acre-ft of water (0.2 - 1.0 ppm).  For effective control, proper concentration must be maintained for a minimum of three hours contact time.  For best results, K-Tea must be applied when conditions are calm and when algae first appear.  Even distribution of K-Tea in the water will improve algae control.  For help in determining acreage and volume, please visit our Acreage and Volume Calculations page.

USE RESTRICTIONS: Waters treated with K-Tea may be used for swimming, fishing, further potable water treatment, livestock watering or irrigating turf, ornamental plants or crops after treatment.  In Aquaculture, do not exceed a concentration of 0.4 ppm during any single application.  Do not use in waters containing Koi and goldfish. Not intended for use in small volume, garden pond systems.
